Klein ISD Announces Exceptional Results from 2024 Family Satisfaction Survey

Klein, Texas – Klein ISD is excited to share the results of its 2024 Family Satisfaction Survey, conducted prior to the start of the 2024-2025 school year.

This annual survey provides essential insights into the experiences and perspectives of families across the district, reaffirming Klein ISD’s commitment to excellence in education and community partnership.

“These results, which are the best we’ve ever received, demonstrate that our teachers and staff remain united in purpose, committed to providing an excellent education, and focused on creating safe, supportive learning environments for our students,” Klein ISD Superintendent Dr. Jenny McGown said. “As a fellow Klein ISD mom, I know that when we work hand-in-hand with our families, we make a positive difference for our kids.”

Key highlights from the survey include:

• Effective Communication: 92% of respondents praised Klein ISD’s ability to communicate important information effectively.
• Community Engagement: An overwhelming 94% of families agreed or strongly agreed that Klein ISD fosters positive partnerships between schools and the community.
• Curriculum Quality: 92% of families commended Klein ISD for delivering an engaging curriculum with meaningful learning opportunities.
• Student Safety: 87% of families expressed confidence in Klein ISD’s ability to maintain safe and disciplined schools—a top priority for the district.
• Parent Partnerships: 91% of families reported that Klein ISD provides the necessary resources and support to partner in their child’s education.

Families also expressed high satisfaction with the district’s academic and extracurricular programs:

• Academics: 95% of families were satisfied with the quality of academic programs across the district.
• Fine Arts: 96% of families reported being satisfied or very satisfied with the district’s fine arts offerings.
• Athletics: 94% of families expressed satisfaction with Klein ISD’s athletic programs.

These strong results reflect the trust and confidence families place in Klein ISD.

When asked to rank their priorities for the future, families identified the following top areas of importance:

1. Academic Excellence
2. Safe and Disciplined Schools
3. High-Quality Teaching and Support Staff
4. Mental Health & Wellness Supports
5. Preparing Students for College & Career
6. Parent/Family Engagement and Involvement
7. Transparent and Timely Communication
8. Extracurricular Activities
9. Technology Resources (Student & Classroom Devices)
10. Fiscal Responsibility

The survey revealed that the three most important areas for families are Academic Excellence (15%), Safe and Disciplined Schools (14%), and High-Quality Teaching and Support Staff (13%).
